Infocomm 2024: 5 Quotes of the Week

 A tradeshow event with over 30,000 attendees means a lot of talking. In the case of Infocomm 2024 there is also a lot of meaning. Bluefin International was right in the middle of the buzz amongst the commercial AV industry. At this year’s show, Bluefin ranked as one of the best digital signage companies. These 5 quotes from industry leaders sum up the week.

 Meetings

-       Years ago, I’d have told you the InfoComm Show was about the tech. Over the years, I’ve smartened up. #InfoComm24 was about the PEOPLE. Our relationships aren’t driven merely by closing the deal but, rather, by genuine human connection. For a week, we waved goodbye to our first family and warmly greeted our second family.

It is easy to think about business in terms of sales. Bluefin, however, and so many in the AV industry, are truly driven by relationships. In a good relationship, sales is often a natural outcome. A deal is a byproduct of knowing and caring about what is important to each other. The week of Infocomm saw friends new and old coming to the Bluefin booth to talk to us, share their stories, and hear ours.

 Bluefin took home two awards at Infocomm 2024. ‘Best of Show’ from Digital Signage Magazine for our 48.5 Flex OS ultrawide. And the ‘Best of Infocomm 2024’ award from CTI, a national integrator. These awards represent a holistic view of Bluefin within digital signage and more broadly as an end-user focused product. Both were about what is possible’, as Eric Snider put it. Bluefin operates on the principal of what is possible when it comes to digital signage. Variety of operating systems, custom screen build and any type of content means just about anything is possible.

Whether is it an outdoor digital signage display or a sensor triggered demo, engaging with responsive digital content creates a new level of experience for people. It is exciting to see someone enjoy it a smile. That is why we do what we do!

-       Infocomm is a great place to start new partnerships and further existing relationships. It is our connections that further the industry and collective business.

 We had over a dozen partners actively demoing Bluefin screens in their booths or providing content in the Bluefin booth. This harmony among the ecosystem demonstrates that when we work together, we can make a significant impact. As we welcomed new partners to the booth or visited theirs it was clear that there is strength in numbers. For an end-user this is essential in helping them navigate the sometimes complex world of digital signage.

 

Friendship

-       My only regret is that I couldn't connect with more of you due to the craziness of tradeshow week.

 As many meaningful conversations were had, it just wasn’t enough. We sat with new friends at dinners, laughed with old ones at parties, and showed up at almost every event there was! It still just wasn’t enough. Like industry leader, Joe Pham, it is our only regret. The Bluefin team is on the move and globally active. As a global digital signage company, we are ready to demo, discuss, or simply show up to keep a good thing going.
